AIKA Arctic Data Intelligence and Supercomputing Ecosystem in Kainuu has officially become a Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) on 16 June 2023 by decision from EC. We are extremely proud of this achievement, especially with relatively short operations time behind us so far.

Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) are consortia that aim to accelerate the digitalization of SMEs and the public sector in their area. DIHs offer services that support digitalization, like training and learning of different subtopics, doing test before invest piloting, financial advice and support for networking.

Digital innovation hubs are part of the EU’s digital strategy to promote the competitiveness of European industry and the continent’s carbon neutrality targets. The strategy aims to support the uptake of digital technology opportunities, new business opportunities and services to grow profitably and sustainably.
