Kainuu’s main AI event of the year!
Kainuu Digital Summit 2025 – AI Empowering Business, Academia and Startups returns for its third edition, bringing together a diverse community of AI practitioners, researchers, and industry professionals at the Conference Center Kaukametsä (Kouta-sali) in Kajaani. This year, the Summit expands into a two-day event: the Academic Day on November 5th will delve into research-driven insights and university-led initiatives, while the Industrial Convention on November 6th will spotlight practical applications and business-driven innovation. Organized by the AIKA Ecosystem—powered by Kajaani University of Applied Sciences and CSC – IT Center for Science—the event continues its mission to strengthen regional competitiveness by bridging the gap between high technology and traditional industries.
The 2025 Summit shifts its focus toward real-world pilot projects and AI applications in both small and large organizations, moving beyond previous years’ emphasis on policy and data economy discussions.
