AIKA Ecosystem is delighted to share the news that Kajaani University of Applied Sciences’ AI-HEALTH Nordic: AI-Powered SmartCare for Remote Communities project has been granted funding through Interreg Aurora. Our team is leading the project in partnership with Nord Universitet and Luleå Tekniska Universitet.
The AI-HEALTH Nordic project will test and validate AI-supported healthcare models in at least three regions across Finland, Sweden, and Norway. These pilots will demonstrate how digital solutions can strengthen local healthcare capacity and support sustainable rural and Arctic health systems.
Through close cross-border collaboration, AI-HEALTH Nordic brings together small and medium-sized enterprises, healthcare providers, and research institutions to co-develop digital tools that are practical, reliable, and tailored to the cultural and linguistic diversity of the Aurora region (About us – Interreg Aurora).
